Chinese Applications

Applicants from mainland China can refer to this page for information on available MSc and PhD positions.

International Applications

Applications from international students are welcome for both PhD and MSc programs.

International applicants are expected to apply for financial support through the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) or other relevant scholarship programs. Admission will primarily be considered for applicants who can secure scholarship funding.

Research can be conducted in English.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to email the following materials to lizw@whu.edu.cn for an initial evaluation:

• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Academic transcript
• Two-page research proposal
• Publications or other research outputs, if available

PhD program applicants should have at least one paper published in an SCI-indexed journal.

Further communication will be arranged based on the applicant’s academic background, research interests, and available positions. Interested applicants will normally receive a reply within one week.
